As the giant, smiling sun began to rise above the peak of the hill, the door of the bright blue estate house slowly creaked open. A bright red duck of average height walked out the door and stretched her arms and legs in the morning brightness. She looked around the peaceful estate and smiled as she picked a toontanic off of one of her gag trees. She was surprised when she heard the sound of a watering can behind her and turned to see a small black cat standing there, looking as though she had just been caught with her hand in the cookie jar.

"Morning, Bad Luck," the red duck said.

"Morning, Loopy," the black cat replied, adjusting her rainbow colored bow. "I hope you don't mind me watering your flowers, I'm almost to my new watering can. I've been taking care of everyone's flowers lately, but I guess I forgot to tell you."

"No worries, I was a little curious why my flowers have been so perky lately when I haven't watered em in days." Loopy smiled. Suddenly, she looked around with a frown. "Have you seen Lily this morning?"

"Not seen her, but I've sure heard her. She was snoring so loud this morning that I couldn't even get near her garden without getting a headache." Bad Luck explained, continuing to tend to a Lily of the Alley.

Loopy groaned. Lily Loopenmuffin was the laziest toon she had ever met and what was worse was that she was her sister. Lily was Loopy's cream colored twin who had remained at 15 laff points all her life. Lily was constantly getting herself into trouble chasing after false rumors and was in every way the exact opposite of Loopy's personality.
At the moment, Loopy was extremely frustrated with her sister. They had talked the previous night about how Lily was finally going to get up and do her toontasks and, of course, Lily had probably forgotten and decided to sleep in. Not today, not this time. Lily was not going to weasel her way out of doing her part for Toontown.
Loopy barged into the pink house just feet away from her own home. She didn't bother to mind the door and let it slam forcefully as she entered.
"Lily!!!" Loopy yelled, walking into the star-wallpapered bedroom. There was her sister, her head hanging off the side of the bed and her feet bumping against the wall, blankets and sheets strewn everywhere, fast asleep.
Loopy sighed, she knew there was only one way to wake up her sister now. She reached into her gag pack and carefully selected a little yellow feather. She gently tickled her sister's tummy which was met with the cream colored duck jerking up suddenly and falling off the bed, laughing. Lily's laugh was very similar to Donald Duck's, who happened to be a relative, and it took the young toon a whole minute to recover from the tiny tickle attack.
Loopy stood above her, tapping her foot in impatience.
Lily had stopped laughing, but a goofish grin still decorated her bill, "What?" she asked in response to her sister's stern expression.

"Do you have any idea what time it is?"

"Uh....waffle time?"

Loopy slapped her face in frustration, "No, you promised you would do your toontasks this morning!"

"I can't!" Lily groaned, falling back dramatically onto the floor like a stubborn toddler.

"Lily, it's not that hard. All you have to do is choose between Toon-up and Sound!"

"Heh, you make it sound so easy!" Lily retorted putting a gloved hand to her forehead, continuing with the dramatics.

"Lily, do you have any idea what kind of tasks I have to deal with right now?!" Loopy asked, cringing at the thought of the 200 cog buildings she needed to defeat.

Lily gave out another dramatic groan and tried to crawl under the bed; a ditch tactic she had been using since she was a duckling. Loopy quickly grabbed her feet before they disappeared under the mattress and attempted to pry her stubborn sister out from under the bed. Loopy tugged, trying to match the strength of her baby sister. Unfortunately, Loopy was not all that great at the Tug-o-war game and quickly lost to Lily. Loopy groaned and sighed.
"Fine, you wanna stay home? Go ahead! But I am SO not bringing home pizza tonight!" Loopy said.
At this, Lily poked her head out from under the bed. "Jockatoons pizza? You're not gonna bring home JOCKATOON'S PIZZA?!"
Lily had now fully emerged from her hiding place and stood at equal height with her sister.
"It costs jellybeans to buy pizza, Lily. Doing toontasks earns me jellybeans. If I can't make enough to support our Home, then the first thing that goes is the pizza."
"No, not that. Anything but the pizza!" Lily got on her hands and knees and looked up at Loopy with sad eyes.
Loopy sighed and smiled, "All you have to do is choose between Toon-up and Sound. Trust me, it's easier than you think." Loopy offered her hand to the cream duck and she took it gladly. "Just choose Toon-up, it's the easiest track to train. It's what I did."
Lily sighed and smiled. Her sister always knew best and after all, how complicated could it be?

To Be Continued.....

This is going to be a small series about my past toons on TTO.

Meet Little Loopy Loopenmuffin - Loopy is a very hardworking toon. Although she is sometimes a bit serious about Toontasks, she is just very passionate about her world and dislikes anyone who doesn't try as hard as she does. She is a naturally fun person and will hang out with just about anyone, but is easily riled by acts of spite or laziness. Likes: completeing toontasks, advancing to the next level, having fun with friends, caring for others. Dislikes: Greeners, Shoppers, Bullies, laziness, toons who are intentionally mean to other toons.

Meet Lily Loopenmuffin - Lily is the younger sister of Loopy. She is labeled as a slacker and has remained at 15 laff points while her sister has gone all the way to maxed laff. Lily is extremely gullible and will believe any rumor she is told, which often leads to a mess of trouble for her older sister to clean up after. While Lily is very sweet she is also incredibly clutzy and is usually the toon to cause the problems for toontasks rather than solve them. (Ex: Lily once sold Sharky Jones' goldfish to the cogs when they told her they would give her a million jellybeans. Loopy wound up having to recover the fish and it has become a permenant milestone Toontask ever since.) Likes: Pizza, relaxing, adventure, sleeping in. Dislikes: Working on toontasks, making her own decisions, feeling cheated.

Meet Bad Luck - Bad Luck is a smaller than average cat with a very sweet disposition. She is a detective for the Toon Council and her job lies in the "Lost" department of Toon HQ. When something, or someone, goes missing that normal toons can't handle she is the first person Flippy calls for the job. She sometimes asks Loopy to help her with cases since the two work directly across from each other in Toon HQ.

This is pretty interesting. I love the dynamic between Loopy and Lily- it's silly. I can't wait to see more from you!
